Dr. Josianne Roma-Reardon, Ph.D. is a Public Health specialist with over 15 years of international work experience in academic and non-profit settings in South Africa, East and Southern Africa and internationally. She is fluent in English, French and Portuguese, and experienced in project management, strategic planning, organisational development, conducting research and programme evaluations, report and proposal writing, editing, translation and facilitation. Her areas of expertise include public health, HIV and AIDS, sociology of sport and physical activity, gender, women's health, maternal and child health, family planning, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). She has worked with various population groups including orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), adolescents and young people, women, men who have sex with men (MSM) and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals.
